Iron pill induced gastritis in children with iron deficiency anemia

Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is the most common nutritional in India, which managed with oral supplementation of iron. Gastritis induced these iron pills a complication following (ferrous sulfate) supplementation. So proper care must be taken when prescribed. When side effects are encountered, stopped, and treatment should started immediately.
